Hello, kiddos. It is summetime, and you know what that means... It means it's time for summer activities. At the moment, the only events we have worked out are at the library, but there are a lot of them... AND HERE THEY ARE:
Farmers' Market: Mondays in July and August (7/4, 7/11, 7/18, 7/25, 8/1, 8/8, 8/15, 8/22, 8/29)
We're taking these in two 2-hour shifts. The first goes 3:30-5:30, the second goes 5:30-7:30. You'll be giving out water, helping set up and take down tables, and relaying messages between librarians. ATTENTION: THERE IS A CHANCE YOU WILL GET FREE FOOD OUT OF THIS. FREE. FOOD. How great is that, guys??? You should definitely come and help out.
3D Printing: Tuesdays in July/August (7/12, 7/19, 7/26, 8/9, 8/16, 8/26)
This one's still being worked out with the dates, but the activity itself isn't that complicated, and the sessions will be going 3-5. People come in, you send them to thingiverse, they pick out a thing to print, you send it to the printer, and it gets printed.
Our yearly computer classes: Every other Wednesday in July and August (7/13, 7/27, 8/10, 8/24)
These go from 3:30-5. We'll be starting out with some simple computer tasks, and then likely switching to coding later. We're still working out the exact topics we'll be covering throughout the summer, but we'll update you guys as soon as we can.
